Plan Migration
Q. Can I manually switch to the new plan before automatic migration?
Q. Can I manually switch to the new plan before automatic migration?
A. Yes, it's possible. After the new plans become available on December 1, 2024, you can manually switch to a new plan at any time up until your project's next renewal date.
When migrating manually, you have the option to select a plan other than the automatic migration option. Just ensure that all items, except the CMS model count and redirects, fall within the limits of the new plan.
If no manual plan switch is performed during this period, your plan will be automatically migrated to the auto-selected plan at the next renewal.
Important correction:
Old information (incorrect):
You needed to adjust your project's page count and CMS model numbers to fit within the new plan limits before signing up.
New information (correct):
For existing projects, you'll be able to continue using your current number of models without being restricted by the new plan limits. We'll provide more detailed specifications soon.
Additional information:
We have changed the description of the period during which manual plan switches are possible from "until March 31, 2025" to "during the period up to each project's next renewal timing." (Last Updated: October 16, 2024)
Added information on the conditions for manual migration to a plan other than the automatic migration option. (Last Updated: October 30, 2024)
Q. What qualifies as an "existing project" that won't be subject to model number restrictions?
Q. What qualifies as an "existing project" that won't be subject to model number restrictions?
A. The definition varies depending on your project's subscription plan.
Legacy Paid Plans
Projects subscribed to legacy paid plans before December 1, 2024
Site publication status is not relevant
Legacy Free Plan
Projects created before November 30, 2024 that have active models (models containing published items) at the time of transition to new plans
Model and Item Handling During Transition
For "existing projects" meeting the above criteria, you can continue using the new plan while maintaining item publication status, even if your active model count exceeds the new plan's limits.
However, if your CMS published item count exceeds the limit, items will be automatically set to draft status starting from the oldest ones to meet the new plan's limits.
Note: Collections are not counted as items or models.
Usage Conditions After Transition
If your active model count exceeds the new plan's limits at the time of transition, the following conditions apply:
You can still create new models and items even when exceeding the limit
However, you cannot change items to `Published` or `Scheduled` status for newly created models or inactive models (models with no published items at transition). Either set all items in existing models to draft status to stay within the limit or consider upgrading.
You can continue to edit, update, and delete previously published items and active models
Even if you change existing models or items to `Draft` or delete them, you cannot change newly created items to `Published` or `Scheduled` status until the total count meets the new plan's limits.
Additionally, even if your item count is within limits, you cannot change items to `Published` or `Scheduled` status in inactive models while exceeding the model limit.
Examples of Transitioning from Legacy to New Plans
Here are specific examples focusing on model and item limit restrictions during transition. Other limitations are not covered here.
1. Transitioning from Legacy Business Plan to Personal Plan
Example conditions:
2,000 published items and 5 active models at transition
Personal plan limits: 1,000 published CMS items, 5 models
During transition:
As CMS items exceed the limit, 1,000 items will automatically be set to draft status, starting from the oldest creation date.
Post-transition restrictions apply as described above.
2. Transitioning from CMS Plan to Personal Plan
Example conditions:
500 published CMS items and 7 active models at transition
Personal plan limits: 1,000 published CMS items, 5 models
During transition:
While model count exceeds the limit, since CMS items are within the limit, you can maintain current publication status for both models and items.
Post-transition restrictions apply as described above.

Usage conditions and examples updated: November 27, 2024
We've added information about the Legacy Free Plan. (Last updated: November 8, 2024)
We updated our policy on adding models when exceeding the limit as follows (Update date: October 31, 2024).
New Policy:
If you exceed the model limit in the new plan, you can add new models, but items within those models cannot be published or scheduled for publication. You can still edit or delete existing models.
Previous Policy:
If you exceeded the model limit in the new plan, you could not add further models and were only able to edit or delete existing models.
Q. How are the remaining contract period and price differences handled when migrating to a new plan while the existing plan's contract period is still valid?
Q. How are the remaining contract period and price differences handled when migrating to a new plan while the existing plan's contract period is still valid?
A. It depends on the situation.
In case of manual switch:
When migrating to a new plan that is more expensive than the old plan, similar to the current plan upgrade process, a new contract will start at the time of plan migration, and additional charges will occur.
When migrating to a new plan that is less expensive than the old plan, similar to the current plan downgrade process, the contract will switch to the new plan at the expiration of the existing contract (automatic renewal timing). There will be no change in the contract date or refund processing.
In case of automatic migration:
For both upgrades and downgrades, the migration will occur at the expiration of the old plan (automatic renewal timing), and the new plan will take effect. Therefore, we kindly request that you check the destination plan on the dashboard before the automatic migration is executed.
What criteria are used to select the automatic migration destination plan?
What criteria are used to select the automatic migration destination plan?
A. Based on your project usage as of November 30, 2024, an automatic migration plan will be selected according to the criteria below. This selected plan will be displayed on your project dashboard starting December 1, 2024.
Manual Migration Before Automatic Migration
Beginning April 1, 2025, automatic migration will occur for each project at the time of its next renewal. However, you also have the option to switch plans manually before that date.
If you choose manual migration, you can select a plan other than the automatic migration option, as long as all items (except the CMS model count and redirects) fall within the limits of the new plan.
Q. When reserving a downgrade manually, do I need to make sure the CMS model count and other settings are within the new plan’s limits in advance?
Q. When reserving a downgrade manually, do I need to make sure the CMS model count and other settings are within the new plan’s limits in advance?
A. You can reserve a downgrade even if your current usage exceeds the limits of the downgraded plan. However, if the downgrade takes place while usage remains above the limits, restrictions may apply.
1. Cases Where Functionality Restrictions May Apply
If the following conditions apply during a downgrade, your site will stay live, and you’ll still be able to make updates. However, there will be limitations on certain functions.
If the CMS model count exceeds the new plan’s limit
While you can add new models even when exceeding new plan limits, you cannot publish or schedule items within new models while exceeding the limit.
If you downgrade to the Personal plan or below and have redirect settings
Existing redirects will still work, but you won’t be able to edit or add new redirects.
If the CMS item count exceeds the new plan’s limit
Published items that exceed the limit will automatically revert to drafts, as before. For more information, please see the article below.
2. Cases Where the Site Becomes Unpublished
If any of the following conditions apply during a downgrade, the site will become unpublished. An alert will appear if this applies, so you can make any necessary adjustments before the next scheduled renewal date.
Exceeding the page limit
Using the password protection feature with the Mini plan
If the site becomes unpublished, you’ll need to adjust to fit within the plan limits or upgrade to a higher plan to republish the site.
Here's the English translation, using Intercom's correction notice style:

Page Limit
Q. Why did you add a page limit to the new plans?
Q. Why did you add a page limit to the new plans?
A. While our Studio design editor has always had an internal data capacity limit, we couldn't accurately quantify it, which caused inconvenience for our users. To ensure you can continue using Studio with peace of mind, we've completely revamped the design editor's structure.
This allows for significantly more pages and lets us clearly state the upper limits. For Personal plans and above, you'll now be able to manage projects with much higher limits (150 pages or more) compared to the previous rough guideline of "about 80 pages"
Q. What types of pages count towards the page limit? 🆙

Pages excluded from count:
Redirect settings pages (used for URL forwarding)

Note:
Mini plan users can create a 404 page in addition to their 2-page limit.
Redirect settings are an optional feature available for Business plan and above.
Modals are included in the page count.
For dynamic pages and dynamic modals, only pages displayed in the page panel are counted. Pages switched and displayed from the top of the screen are not counted.

Q. How should I proceed if the number of models I plan to use exceeds the limit of the new Business Plus plan?
Q. How should I proceed if the number of models I plan to use exceeds the limit of the new Business Plus plan?
A. The approach differs depending on the timing of your plan contract.
If you contract or renew an old plan by November 30, 2024:
You can migrate to the new plan even if you exceed the limit. Even if you exceed the model limit in the new plan, you can still add new models. However, you won’t be able to publish or schedule items within that model. If you want to use the added model, please either delete other models to stay within the limit or unpublish all items in other models.
If you're entering into a new contract on or after December 1, 2024:
It may be possible to accommodate your needs with an Enterprise plan. Please contact our support team if necessary.

Q. Why has a CMS model limit been added to the new plans?
Q. Why has a CMS model limit been added to the new plans?
A. To ensure we can continue to guarantee the loading speed and stability of published sites across our entire service, we have decided to set a limit on the number of models after considering the usage patterns of our current customers. This limit also serves as a performance guarantee.
Moving forward, we will continue to implement improvements that make content management easier without relying heavily on CMS models. While this may cause some inconvenience to some customers, we kindly ask for your understanding.
