What is a 404 Page?

A 404 page is an error page that appears when a requested page cannot be found on a website.

A well-designed 404 page serves more than just an error notification. By including links to your homepage or other important pages, you can potentially prevent visitors from leaving your site.

How to Set Up a 404 Page

  1. Add a new page to your website.

  2. Design the page and change its page type or page path to "404".

Note: Modal windows cannot be set as 404 pages.

By following these simple steps, you can create a custom 404 page that helps guide your users back to relevant content on your site, improving their overall experience and reducing bounce rates.
