Viewing Limits for Form Responses by Plan

This article explains the limit for viewing Studio.Design form responses in the dashboard, depending on your plan. It also covers what happens when you reach the limit, and what you can do next.

Displaying Form Results in Studio.Design

If you enable [Save form results to Studio] in your project settings, you can view submitted form data in the Studio.Design dashboard.

Response Limits by Plan

Each plan sets a maximum number of responses that can be viewed in the dashboard. Please note, responses sent via [Live Preview] do not count towards these limits.

For users on older plans (Starter, CMS, or previous Business), different limits may apply.

Note: In addition to plan-specific limits, there is a daily cap: No more than 5,000 submissions per project per day can be saved. If this limit is exceeded, the extra responses will not be stored.

Response Limits for Legacy Plans

For legacy plans subscribed before November 30, 2024:

  • Free Plan … Up to 10

  • Starter Plan … Up to 1,000

  • CMS / Business Plan … Up to 10,000

What Happens If You Exceed Your Plan’s Limit?

When the number of responses exceeds your plan’s limit, all project [Owners] will receive an email notification letting them know. After reaching the limit:

  • You will not be able to view additional responses in the dashboard.

  • Response content will not be visible in notification emails (emails will still be sent).

  • You cannot export excess responses to CSV.

What to Do If You Reach the Limit

Even if you can’t view responses in the dashboard, the data is still saved in Studio.Design’s database. To view additional responses, you can either:

  • Delete unwanted responses to make more space.

  • Upgrade your plan to increase your limit.

Either option will allow you to once again view older responses in order of submission date.

Tips: Even if you go over the dashboard viewing limit, you can still see all your form responses in Google Sheets if you’ve set up the integration. Accessing your responses with Google Sheets works no matter how many responses you receive. For instructions, see [Managing Studio.Design form responses in Google Sheets].
