Set up your account's payment information

Learn how to add and manage the credit or debit card, billing name, and address used to pay for your projects in Studio.Design.

Here's how to set up or change your account's payment information, which will be used for plan fees and reflected on your invoices and receipts.

Setting up your account payment information

  1. Log in to your Studio.Design account.

  2. Hover over the account icon in the upper-right corner of the screen, then click [Settings].

  3. Select the [Payment Information] tab.

From the account payment information page, you can manage the following:

  • Billing name (recipient on invoices)

  • Payment card

Note:

  • These settings apply to payments, invoices, and receipts for every project where you're the payment owner.

  • You can't change this information on a per-project basis.

    If you want to separate billing between different projects, you can use the Workspace feature, which lets you manage multiple projects (sites) together.


Billing name

The billing name appears on the invoices and receipts for every project where you're the payment owner.

If you haven't set a billing name, your Studio.Design account name (as the payment owner) will be used instead. The billing name field can't be left blank.

Note:

  • Changing your billing name also updates the name on any invoices and receipts that have already been issued.

  • The payment owner's email address shown on the billing details can't be edited or removed.


Payment card

Set the credit or debit card you want to use for project payments.

Any changes will take effect starting with your next payment.

Setting a billing address

You can't set or change your billing address from account settings. If you need to update it, please reach out to us through chat support via the [?] icon in the lower-right corner of the editor.

Our support team will apply the change and let you know through chat once it's done.

Note: The updated billing address will appear on any invoices or receipts issued after the change, but won't be reflected on ones that have already been issued.

If you're using the Workspace feature, you can set or change your billing address from [Payment Information] in your workspace settings.
