This article explains each of the settings you can manage from the project settings screen.
Point: What is a project?
In Studio.Design, you create a project to build, publish, and manage a website.
To learn more about what a project does and how it connects to your account and plan, see What is a Studio.Design project?
Opening the project settings screen
Log in to Studio.Design.
Open the dashboard for the project you want to edit.
Click [Home] at the top of the screen.
Click [Project Settings] on the left side of the screen to open the settings.
Project settings in detail
Here's a look at each item you can manage on the project settings screen.
Point: For settings like publishing or unpublishing your site, password protection, and trailing slashes (formerly the canonical tag), see Set up publishing and delivery.
Project name
Set a name to help you identify the project on your dashboard. The project name you set here isn't shown to site visitors.
Click the [Edit] button to set it.
Thumbnail
Set the image shown on the project list screen. We recommend 1200×630px and under 5MB.
To add a thumbnail:
Hover your cursor over the image.
Click [Upload], then choose the image you want to use as the thumbnail from your local folder.
You can also set it from [Upload thumbnail (Change thumbnail)] below the image.
Note: Meta information shown to visitors—such as the site title and social cover image (thumbnail / OGP image)—is set in the Design Editor. For details, see Page meta information.
External integrations
Webhook
You can send a notification to a URL you specify when your site is published, updated, or unpublished, or when a comment is added.
For details, see Set up Webhook notifications.
Tips: If you connect a Slack incoming webhook, you can get automatic notifications right in Slack.
