In Studio.Design, you can connect only one domain to each project. Since "www.example.com" and "example.com" are treated as separate domains, your site is normally accessible from only one of them.
When you set up a www redirect, visitors are automatically forwarded to your connected domain, so your site can be reached with or without the "www."
You can only set up a www redirect on projects that have a custom domain connected.
Note: You can't complete this setup in Studio.Design alone. You also need to configure DNS records with your domain provider.
How to set up a www redirect
Step 1. Add an A record for both the www and non-www versions
When you connect a custom domain, an A record is usually added for the root domain only. To use a www redirect, you need to add the same A record for the www subdomain as well.
Open the DNS record settings in your domain provider's dashboard.
Add Studio.Design's A record (
34.111.141.225) for your www subdomain (for example, www.example.com).Keep in mind that DNS changes can take a few hours to take effect.

Step 2: Set up the www redirect in Studio.Design
Note: Only members with Owner permissions can change this setting.
Open [Settings] in the dashboard of the project you want to update.
Select [General] from the menu on the left.
Click [Settings] under [www redirect].
Select [Set up redirect], then click [Save].
The redirect takes effect as soon as you save. There's no need to republish your site.

If you want to change the connected domain itself
A www redirect simply makes your site reachable both with and without the "www." The domain you currently have connected (your canonical URL) stays as either the www or non-www version.
If you want to switch the connected domain itself between www and non-www for SEO or branding reasons, reconnect your domain instead.
