What is Activity Log?
Activity Log records and displays user actions (events) within your project. It helps you:
Monitor for unauthorized access and suspicious activities
Perform regular security audits
Investigate information leaks, content tampering, and operational mistakes
Troubleshoot unexpected issues
The system primarily records crucial operations related to billing and publishing settings. Note that actions in the design editor and CMS dashboard are not recorded.
Common Use Cases
Detecting unauthorized access: Regular log reviews help identify suspicious activities and unusual access patterns early
Analyzing operational errors: Investigate unexpected site unpublishing or billing increases
Monitoring payment activities: Track plan changes and payment information updates to prevent fraudulent transactions

For projects created:
Before Oct 30, 2024: Data available from release date

Access is available to Business Plus plan projects for:
Users with Owner permissions (without Workspace feature)

Recorded Information
Each log entry includes:
User (username, email)
Event (action taken)
IP address (IPv4 format)
Timestamp
User ID (visible in CSV export only)
Tip: Usernames and emails shown are from when the action was recorded. If these details change later, logs may show both old and new information.
Using Activity Log
Viewing Logs
Log in to your project with appropriate access
Open Dashboard
Navigate to [Home] tab > [Activity Log]
Filtering and Sorting
Filter by date: Use the period selector in the top right
Sort by time: Click the timestamp column to reverse chronological order
Exporting Logs
Exports are always sorted by timestamp in ascending order.
Click [Export Log] in the top right
Choose format:
CSV file
CSV file (Excel compatible)
