Unlinking a Project from a Workspace
This article explains the steps to unlink a project from a workspace and how users and billing are managed during the process.
Handling Workspace Members and Guests
When a project is unlinked from a workspace, the access permissions of members who can access the project will change as follows:
Guests will retain Writer permissions for the project if it is on a Business Plan or higher. Otherwise, they will be removed from the project members and will no longer have access.

Tips: Members who are invited but have not yet accepted the invitation will also have their roles updated as shown above. The invitation link expires after 24 hours, so you may need to resend the invitation.
Handling of Payment Owner
Handling of the Payment Owner When Unlinking a Project from a Workspace:
Setting Status | Payment Owner Handling |
Billing owner is set on the project side | No change |
| Cannot unlink the project from the Workspace |
| Remover becomes the billing owner |
| Cannot unlink the project from the Workspace |
Steps to Unlink
This action can only be performed by the Workspace Owner.
1. Open the Workspace List
Log in and select the Workspace from the project list page.
2. Click [•••]
Click [•••] next to the project and select [Unlink from Workspace].
