Tips: What is a Workspace?
A feature that allows you to manage multiple projects (sites) together. You can centrally manage member invitations, permissions, and payment plans.
Workspace Billing Owner
You can register payment information for a Workspace and set the Workspace as the billing owner for associated projects. This allows for centralized payment management.
Specifying Payment Owners for Individual Projects
It is also possible to set a payment owner for each project. If you want to change the payment owner for a specific project, you can set an individual account as the payment owner.
How to Change the Payment Owner
You can change the payment owner using either of the following methods.
Tips: This action can only be performed by Workspace owners.
Note: Payment owners cannot be changed if the currencies of the payment owners differ.
Preparation
To process payments through a Workspace, you need to set up payment information for the Workspace in advance. For steps on how to do this, see Setting and Changing Workspace Payment Information.
Changing via Project Settings
1. Open [Payment Information] for the Project
Open the dashboard of the project for which you want to change the payment owner. Click on [Plan & Payment] and then [Payment Information].
2. Change the Payment Owner
Click [Use Workspace Payment] to immediately apply the change. If the Workspace is already set as the payment owner, click [User Personal Payment] to set the individual project’s payment owner.
Changing When Adding Existing Projects to a Workspace
When adding an existing project to a Workspace, a confirmation screen for changing the payment owner will be displayed. If there is no payment owner setting, this confirmation screen will not be shown.
