How Studio.Design billing works
Our billing isn't tied to your account—it's tied to each individual project. For any given project, one member takes on the role of billing owner and handles the billing.
Example
Here's an example illustrating how billing works if Account A participates in multiple projects:
Project Name | Price Plan | Account A's Role | Number of Members | Billing Owner |
Project 1 | Free | [Owner] | 1 | None |
Project 2 | Mini | [Billing Owner] | 1 | Account A |
Project 3 | Personal | [Billing Owner] | 3 | Account A |
Project 4 | Business | [Owner] or [Editor] | 4 | Another account |
In this example, Account A is responsible for the plan fees for "Project 2" and "Project 3."
Only one website can be created and published per project.
Account A is only billed for projects where they are assigned as the billing owner and is not charged for projects managed by others.
Tip: Workspaces
Normally, payment is handled project by project. However, by using [Workspace], you can manage payments and billing across multiple projects in one place.
