Setting Up Links
Links allow users to navigate between pages within your project or to external websites. You can set them up easily within the editor.
1. Linking to Another Page
To link to another page within your project:
Select the element you want to link.
Open the settings panel on the right.
Click [+], then choose the destination page from the list.
2. Anchor Links (Same-Page Navigation)
Anchor links let users jump to a specific section within the same page. Before setting up an anchor link, assign an ID to the target section.
Types of Anchor Links
Link Type | Navigation Behavior | Best Use Case |
| Works within the same page only | Ideal for in-page navigation |
| Navigates to a specific section on another page | Best for site-wide navigation |
3. Linking to a Dynamic Page
If you're using CMS-managed dynamic pages, you can set links to automatically connect to specific items.
For details, check out How to Link to CMS Detail Pages.
4. External Links
To link to an external website:
Select the element you want to link.
Open the settings panel on the right.
Click [+], then enter the URL.
5. Modal Open/Close Links
To create a link that opens a modal:
Select the element you want to use as the trigger.
Open the settings panel on the right.
Click [+], then choose the modal page.
To add a close button, open the modal in the editor and select [Close Modal].
More details: How to Set Up Modal Links.
6. Share Current Page Link
You can use $url
as a variable to dynamically generate a link to the current page. This is useful for social sharing buttons.
For setup instructions, see How to Add a "Share This Article" Button.
7. Property-Based Links
You can use list properties or CMS properties to dynamically generate links for list items or CMS content.
How to Set Up a Link
Select the element you want to link.
Open the settings panel.
Click [+] and select a page or enter a URL.
(Optional) Click [+] again to add a property-based dynamic link.
Preview the link behavior in Live Preview.
To publish, update your site from the publish panel.
Additional Link Settings
Enable Open in new tab to ensure the link opens in a separate browser tab.
Note: If you're using list properties or CMS properties, the Open in new tab setting applies to all items in the list.
Selecting a Private Page
Pages set as private will appear grayed out with a private page icon, as shown in the image.
While you can set these private pages as link destinations, please note that they won't function correctly as links in the live preview or on the published site if left in this state.
Additionally, if you change a page that was already set as a link destination to private settings afterward, the link configuration will remain, but it won't function properly as a link in the live preview or on the published site.
How to Remove a Link
Select the linked element.
Open the settings panel.
Click [-] to remove the link.
To apply the changes, update your site from the publish panel.
