Frequently Asked Questions About Plan Changes

Since the features and usage limits differ for each project plan, careful consideration is required when upgrading or downgrading. This article provides answers to common questions related to plan changes.

Q. Can I change from monthly to monthly or annual to annual plans?

Yes, both changes are possible.

Important Notes About Downgrading

Note: The following information does not apply to automatic or manual migrations from legacy plans (Starter, CMS, Business) to new plans.

Your site will automatically become unpublished at the time of plan transition if any of the following features are not available in your new plan or if you exceed page limits. Please adjust your settings before the transition date:

  • Password protection (when downgrading to Mini plan)

  • Exceeding page limits

  • Active redirect settings

  • Active custom headers

While the following limitations won't cause your site to become unpublished, please note that usage restrictions will apply after the transition:

Restrictions and Behavior After Transition

Exceeding CMS Model Limit

If you exceed the plan limit, items will be automatically unpublished starting from models with the lowest number of items to meet the new limit.

Exceeding CMS Published Item Limit

Items exceeding the new plan's limit will be automatically set to "draft" status, starting with the oldest published items.

Exceeding Form Response Limit

Excess responses will no longer be viewable in the dashboard.

Points to Note When Upgrading

From the moment you upgrade your plan, the new plan contract starts. The remaining period of the previous plan will be automatically discounted at the time of payment.

Q. Can I change from a monthly to an annual plan?

This is possible only when changing to the same or a higher plan.

For example, you can change from a Personal plan with monthly billing to a Business or Business Plus plan with annual billing. However, you cannot change to a Mini plan with annual billing as it's a lower-tier plan.

When changing from a monthly plan to an annual plan mid-cycle, the remaining period of the monthly plan will be discounted from the annual plan fee.

Q. Can I change from an annual to a monthly plan?

Direct changes are not possible.

To change, you must first downgrade the current plan to the Free plan.

Submit a downgrade request to the Free plan, and after the annual plan's contract period ends, it will switch to the Free plan. Then, you can newly sign up for a monthly plan.

Note: When switching from a paid plan to the Free plan, the site will automatically become unpublished. After switching to a monthly plan, you will need to reconnect the domain and republish the site. The site will be inaccessible until publishing is complete.

Q. How do I cancel a plan (downgrade to the Free plan)?

You can downgrade from an upgraded plan at any time. For detailed procedures, please refer to How to Downgrade a Project Plan.

After submitting a request to cancel (downgrade to the Free plan), you can still use the plan's features until the expiration date. Before the expiration date, you can resume the plan by selecting [Resume Plan].

Q. What happens if I accidentally upgrade (purchase) a plan?

If you downgrade the plan immediately after upgrading, we cannot refund the initial contract fee. Please understand this policy.

Q. How do I change the payment currency?

To change the payment currency for a project, you need to cancel the current plan first. After cancellation, upgrade the plan again with the desired currency. Please note that refunds for previously paid fees are not provided.

Q. Where can I check my plan contract status?

You can check the status in the bottom left corner of the project dashboard.

Plans are automatically renewed monthly or annually starting from the upgrade date. To avoid automatic renewal, please downgrade to the Free plan before the due date.

(Example: Upgrade to a paid monthly plan and make payment on 2020/4/19. The next payment is due on 5/19.)
