Form Response Management: Setting Up Notification Emails

Learn how to set up notification emails for Studio.Design forms. This article covers global and individual settings, key things to keep in mind, and practical use cases to help you manage form responses efficiently.

About form notification emails in Studio.Design

With Studio.Design's form feature, you can set up notification emails to be sent whenever someone submits a form response. This helps you stay on top of every response without missing a thing.

You can configure notification emails from the [Forms] dashboard. By default, notifications are sent to the email address of the project creator.

This article walks you through how to set up notification emails and what to keep in mind.

When notification emails come in handy

  • Get real-time alerts

Receive notifications in real time so you can respond quickly.

  • Share responses with multiple team members

Send notifications to a shared address so your team can manage responses together.

Note:

  • Response view limit by plan
Each plan has a limit on the number of responses you can view from the dashboard. Once you reach this limit, notification emails will still be sent, but the response details won't be shown. To keep receiving full notifications, delete older responses or consider upgrading your plan.

  • Daily send limit
You can receive up to 500 notification emails per day. Once you hit this limit, no more emails will be sent for the rest of the day, but responses will still be saved to your [Dashboard].

  • Sender address for notifications

Notification emails are sent from [noreply@Studio.site]. This address can't be changed. If emails are going to your spam folder, add this address to your allowed senders list.

Customizing the notification email subject line

In the individual settings, you can customize the subject line of your notification emails. The default subject is "You have a new response in [Form name] of [Project name]."

A response number (like "#5") is automatically added to the end of each subject line.

Setting a shared notification email address for all forms in a project

  1. Open the [Forms] dashboard.

  2. Click [Settings] in the top right of the screen.

  3. Click [General settings] and enter the email address you'd like to receive notifications at. (By default, this is set to the project creator's email address.)

  4. If the notification email address belongs to someone who isn't a project member, you'll need to verify the address. Check for the email below and click the "Verify email address" button inside.

・Subject: "Studio | Please verify your email address for form notifications"
