Manage form responses: Receive email notifications only

If you don't want form submissions stored in your Studio.Design database, you can adjust your settings in advance to receive responses only via email notification.

How to stop saving form responses to your Studio.Design database

In your form settings, you can choose not to save form responses to your Studio.Design dashboard. When this is turned off, form responses are only sent to the notification destinations you've set up, and no messages will appear in your dashboard.

Note: Files (such as images and PDFs) are not sent to notification email addresses. If you choose not to save responses to your Studio.Design dashboard, you won't be able to receive any files submitted through the form.

Steps

1. Open [Forms]

Click [Forms] in your project dashboard.

2. Set up form notifications

Set up the notification destinations for your form. For details, see Form notification email settings.

3. Turn off [Save form responses to Studio.Design]

Open [Settings] and click [General settings]. Turn off [Save form responses to Studio.Design] (so it appears gray).

4. Test it out

Submit the form from your published site, then confirm that the response arrives at the email address you set up and that no response is saved to your dashboard.
