Understanding CMS Model Limits in Plans

The "CMS model limit" included in plan features refers to models in the CMS dashboard that contain at least one item with published, scheduled, or modified status. In this article, we refer to these as active models. The number of active models you can have in a project varies by plan.

Limits by Plan

Here are the limits for each plan. Active model counts don't reset between months and represent your current total limit.

When Reaching the Limit

You can still create new models and items even when at the limit.

However, you cannot change items to published or scheduled status in newly created models or in models that were inactive (containing no published items) when migrating from a legacy plan. Consider either adjusting by setting all items in existing models to draft status or upgrading your plan.

How to Check Active Model Count

You can check your current plan and active model count from the bottom left of the CMS dashboard.

  1. Open the CMS dashboard

  2. Check the [Active Model Count] display at the bottom left of the screen
