What is the CMS Model Limit

In this article, we use the term "active model" to refer to any model in the CMS dashboard that contains one or more items with Published, Scheduled, or Has Changes status. The "CMS Model Limit" included in your plan refers to the maximum number of active models you can have in your project.

Model Limits by Plan

Here are the limits for each plan. Note that these limits don't reset monthly - they represent the total maximum at any time.

You can still create new models and items even when you've reached the limit. However, you cannot change items to Published or Scheduled status for newly created models or inactive models (models with no published items) at the time of transition. To resolve this, either set all items in existing models to draft status to stay within the limit, or consider upgrading your plan.

How to Check Your Current Model Count

  1. Open the CMS dashboard.

  2. Check the status of items within each model.

    • Only models that have published, scheduled for publication, or modified items listed in the "Models" section of the CMS dashboard will be counted.

      Checking item status

    • Models that contain only draft items are not included in the count.

  3. Count only the models that include published items.

We also plan to improve the display method on the dashboard to make it easier for you to see the count of models that are considered in the future.
