Switching Guests When Upgrading Your Workspace
When upgrading your workspace, it is not possible to directly convert existing owners or members into guests.
If you proceed with the upgrade as-is, the owners and members will remain unchanged, and you will be charged based on the number of members. If you'd like to invite current owners or members as guests, please follow the steps outlined below. By doing so, you can manage users as guests while keeping additional costs to a minimum.
Steps
Following these steps allows you to manage users as guests while keeping additional costs down.
1. Remove them from the workspace before upgrading
Before upgrading, remove the members or owners you want to invite as guests from the workspace.
You can do this by clicking the [•••] menu on the far right of the member list and selecting [Remove from Workspace].
2. Proceed with the upgrade
Complete the upgrade of your workspace.
3. Re-invite them as guests after upgrading
Once the upgrade is complete, re-invite the removed users as guests to the project.
