We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions regarding the announcement on February 28, 2023 detailed in the official Blog post above.

For users considering or subscribing to a paid plan

Q: What happens if I sign up or renew my plan before April 30, 2023 (before the price change)?

If you sign up or renew your plan before April 30, 2023, the price will change at your next renewal.

For monthly payment: The new fees will be applied from the next renewal, which is one month later.

For annual payment: The new fees will be applied from the next renewal, which is one year later.

Example: If you signed up for the CMS (paid monthly) plan on March 1

April 1: Payment at current fees ($24)

May 1: Payment at new fees ($32)

Example: If you signed up for the CMS (paid annually) plan on March 1, 2023

The next payment on March 1, 2024 will be at the new fees ($312).

For users subscribing to an old plan (BASIC, PRO)

BASIC and PRO plans have been available for subscription until March 1 2022.

Q: Will the billing date change if I automatically switch from an old paid plan (BASIC, PRO) to a new plan (Starter, CMS)?

A: No. The billing cycle will remain the same.

Only the plan will change from May 1.

Example: BASIC plan paid monthly, billed on the 10th day of each month

  • 4/10/2023 Payment at the BASIC plan rate ($12)

  • 2023/5/1 Automatic migration to the Starter plan

  • 5/10/2023 Payment at the Starter plan rate ($14).

Q: What happens if I am using CMS under the BASIC plan?

The BASIC plan will be automatically migrated to the Starter plan.

If you are currently using the CMS under the BASIC plan, you will not be able to publish new CMS items after the migration to the Starter plan. However, with this automatic migration, you will still be able to update the CMS items that you have already published. We recommend upgrading your plan or updating your CMS design at your earliest convenience.

Q: What happens if I exceed the monthly page view limit of the new plan?

Please be assured that your website will not experience any immediate interruptions in availability.

Nevertheless, we may send you an individual request to upgrade your plan if the number of page views exceeds the limit for three consecutive months following the migration to the new plan.

For Free plan users

Q: If I have published more than 100 CMS items under the Free plan, will they automatically become private on May 1, 2023?

No. CMS items that have already been published will remain public after May 1, 2023. However, you will not be able to publish new CMS items beyond the maximum limit of 100, so please consider changing to a CMS plan or other plan.
