Point: Make sure it's a CMS List
This article focuses on troubleshooting specifically for CMS Lists, in cases where "images, text, or links end up being the same."
To check whether the box you're working with is a CMS List, see the following article: "When I change a box's image, text, or link, other boxes are replaced with the same content"
If all images, text, or links in a CMS List end up showing the same content, it's because the CMS properties have become disconnected from the boxes.
Follow the steps below to reconnect each property to the box.
When all images are the same
The image for each item is registered in the CMS Dashboard, not in the Design Editor. By calling up the registered image in the Design Editor and linking it to a box, a different image is displayed for each item.
Steps to set a different image for each CMS item
In the Design Editor, select the box whose image you want to change.
Select the [Image] tab.
Click the image URL setting field.
Select an image property already registered in the CMS Dashboard and link it to the box.
After making the change, return to the CMS Dashboard and confirm that the item's publish status is [Published].
Tips: How to register an image for each item in the CMS Dashboard
Select the model that contains the item whose image you want to change.
Click the image property of the relevant item and replace the image.
If you make changes to an item with Published status, the item's status will change to "Modified." Be sure to change the status back to Published.
After setup, check that the image has been updated in the Design Editor or Live Preview.
When all text is the same
The text for each item is registered in the CMS Dashboard, not in the Design Editor. By calling up the registered text in the Design Editor and linking it to a box, different text is displayed for each item.
Steps to set different text for each CMS item
In the Design Editor, select the box whose text you want to change.
Select the [Text] tab.
Click the text input field.
Select a text property already registered in the CMS Dashboard and link it to the box.
After making the change, return to the CMS Dashboard and confirm that the item's publish status is [Published].
Tips: How to register article text for each item in the CMS Dashboard
Select the model that contains the item whose text you want to change.
Register the text using one of the following methods.
If the text to register is the body or title of an article, open the detail screen, edit it, and update the content.
If the text to register is a text property, edit the text property.
If you make changes to an item with Published status, the item's status will change to "Modified." Be sure to change the status back to Published.
After setup, check that the image has been updated in the Design Editor or Live Preview.
When all external links are the same
The external link for each item is registered in the CMS Dashboard, not in the Design Editor. By calling up the registered link in the Design Editor and linking it to a box, a different link is set for each item.
Steps to set a different external link for each CMS item
In the Design Editor, select the box whose link you want to change.
Select the [Settings] tab.
Click the link setting field.
Click the [+] inside the field.
Select a text property already registered in the CMS Dashboard and link it to the box as the external link destination.
After making the change, return to the CMS Dashboard and confirm that the item's publish status is [Published].
