Form Response Management: Viewing Limits by Plan

Studio.Design's form feature has a limit on how many form responses you can view, depending on your plan. This article explains the limits for each plan and what to do when you reach them.

Form response view limits by plan

Each plan has a limit on the number of form responses you can view. Here's an overview of the limits for each plan and what to do if you exceed them.

How to view form response data

You can view the response data submitted to your form in the following ways:

  1. View in the dashboard *

  2. Export to CSV *

You can open the exported CSV file in Excel or Google Sheets to review the data.

  3. View the content in notification emails

* These options are only available if the data is saved in Studio.Design. To save response data in Studio.Design, you need to enable "Save form results to Studio" in the form settings on the dashboard.

Number of viewable responses by plan

The number of responses you can view using the methods above varies by plan. Responses that exceed the limit can't be viewed, but the data itself is still saved in Studio.Design.

*Responses submitted from Live Preview are not included in the counts shown in the table below.

Note: Daily response storage limit

In addition to the viewable response limit, there's also a daily storage limit of 5,000 responses per project per day. Any responses beyond this limit won't be saved. Since the storage and viewing limits are different, please be aware of this if your form receives a high volume of responses.

What happens when responses exceed the plan limit

Screenshot: Form dashboard showing the response limit has been reached.

When responses exceed your plan's viewing limit, the project's Owner and Billing Owner will receive an email notification, and an alert will also appear on the form response list screen.

For responses received after the viewing limit is reached, the following actions aren't available:

  • Viewing in the dashboard

  • Viewing content in notification emails (notification emails will still be sent, but the content won't be displayed)

  • Exporting to CSV

What to do when responses exceed the plan limit

Try one of the following:

  • Move unnecessary responses to the trash and then "permanently delete" them to free up viewing space

  • Upgrade your plan to increase the viewing limit

Once you've taken action, responses that exceeded the limit will become viewable, starting from the oldest submission date.

Tip: If you're managing form responses with Google Sheets, you can still view responses in the spreadsheet even after exceeding the viewing limit.
