Check who last updated a CMS item and when

You can see who last updated a CMS item and when on both the item detail and item list screens in the CMS dashboard — helpful for tracking edits when multiple members manage your CMS.

Check from the item detail screen

The last updated by user and the last updated date and time are displayed at the top of the item detail screen.

The last updated by user and the last updated date and time are shown in the list view.

Actions that update the last modified history

The following actions will update the last updated by user and the last updated date and time:

  • Editing an item's title

  • Changing the Slug

  • Editing the body content (Article type models only)

  • Adding or editing property fields

The following actions will not update the last updated by user or the last updated date and time:


Display and sorting

  • The last updated date and time is always displayed on the CMS dashboard and cannot be hidden.

  • By default, items are sorted by the most recently updated first.

  • For Article type models, you can click the arrow icon or the "Last Updated" column header on the item list screen to toggle between ascending and descending order.
