How to check the console log

If you run into an issue while using Studio.Design, our chat support team may ask you to check the console log and provide a screen recording.

How to check the console log

If you experience errors or unexpected behavior while using Studio.Design, we may ask you to record your screen using your browser's developer tools so we can investigate the issue. This article walks you through how to do that.

  1. Open the screen where the issue occurred.

  2. Right-click anywhere on the page and select Inspect, or use the keyboard shortcut (Mac: ⌘ + Option + I, Windows: F12).

  3. Click the Console tab.

  4. Click Default levels and select only Errors.

  5. To clear the existing logs, right-click in the console area and select Clear console.

  6. Start a screen recording using screen recording software, then reproduce the issue by performing the same actions that caused it.

  7. Once you're done recording, send the video to us via chat.
