Analytics for Studio.Design sites
Studio.Design sites come with built-in analytics (Studio Analytics). Measurement starts automatically as soon as your site is published.
This article explains how to view Studio Analytics from the Analytics dashboard.
Tip: Connect Google Analytics
By connecting Google Analytics (GA), you can view more detailed data. Once connected, you can also see GA data directly within Studio.Design. For more details, check out the articles below.
Metrics available in Studio Analytics
Studio Analytics shows Page Views (PVs) and Visitors.
Page Views (PVs)
Each time a page on your published site is viewed, it counts as 1 PV.
Example: If the same visitor views the "Home page" and then visits the "Contact page," it counts as 2 PVs.
Visitors
Each site visit counts as 1 Visitor.
In Studio Analytics, AI crawlers are also included in the Visitor count.
Example: If the same person views the "Home page" and then visits the "Contact page," it still counts as just 1 Visitor.
Tip: About AI crawler counts
Studio Analytics includes AI crawler access in the Visitor count.
On the other hand, GA excludes known bot traffic from its counts. This is one of the reasons the Visitor count in Studio.Design may differ from the visitor numbers shown in GA.
For users on legacy plans (Starter, CMS, and legacy Business)
For users on legacy plans (Starter, CMS, and legacy Business)
For projects on legacy plans, the dashboard displays "Visitor," but the actual measurement is based on PV (page views).
To view detailed PV trends, please check the "PV count" section of the Analytics dashboard.
This display is due to system migration considerations. There is no change to the measurement logic — counts are handled the same way as before.

How far back you can view data
Studio Analytics collects and stores data for sites published from July 2023 onward. This includes time spent published on a subdomain (.studio.site).
The length of viewable history depends on your plan.
| Free plan | Mini plan | Personal plan | Business plan or higher |
Viewable range | Last 15 days | Last 30 days | Last 150 days | All time |
Viewable range on legacy plans (Starter, CMS, and legacy Business)
Viewable range on legacy plans (Starter, CMS, and legacy Business)
Viewable data range on legacy plans
How plan changes affect your viewable range
If you change plans, you'll be able to view data within the range available on your new plan.
For example, in the scenario below, data collected during the Free plan period is also viewable within the available range:
The site was published on the Business plan, then downgraded to the Free plan.
The site remained published on a subdomain (.studio.site) during the Free plan period.
The account was later upgraded back to the Business plan, and analytics were checked.
