CMS item content not showing on a newly created dynamic page

If the body content of your CMS article isn't appearing on a new dynamic page, check whether a rich text box linked to the article body property has been added to the page. It isn't included by default.

Why the body content isn't showing on your CMS article page (dynamic page)

When you create a new dynamic page, only a text box linked to the Title property is placed at the top of the screen by default.
To display the body content, you'll need to add a Rich Text Box in the design editor and link it to the body property.

Note: Depending on your model settings, the body property may appear as "body," "content," "本文," or something similar.

How to display the body content

Follow these steps to display the body of a CMS article item:

  1. In the design editor, open the CMS article page (dynamic page) you want to edit.

  2. If the body content still isn't showing, check the following:

    • Make sure you've placed a Rich Text Box, not a regular Text Box

    • Make sure the body property (such as "body" or "content") is correctly linked

  3. If needed, use the same steps to link other CMS properties to boxes, such as the title, publish date, or author name.

  4. If you're editing a live site, be sure to update your site after making your changes. The changes won't appear on the live site until you do this.
