Using PDF Files on a Page

In Studio.Design, you can upload PDF files and use them as links on your web pages. This is useful for company brochures, pamphlets, and document download links. This article explains how to set up PDF links and how to edit or delete them.

Point: For details on how to upload PDF files, see Uploading Files (Images, Videos, PDF) to Studio.Design.

Setting a PDF File as a Link Destination

Uploaded PDF files can be set as links to text or boxes on the page; the PDF file will not appear directly on the page, but clicking the link will open the PDF in a new tab.

Tips:

Placing a PDF file on the page will not embed it as an <iframe> box, but will place a text box with a link to the PDF file.

How to Set Up

  1. Select the box ( text, image, etc. ) to which you want to set the link.

  2. Open the right panel from [<] on the right side of the screen and select the [Box] tab.

  3. Click [Link] and select the uploaded PDF file.

The file name at the time of upload will be displayed as the link destination, but the PDF link string will be set to a random string.
