Set meta info (title, description, and social cover) for each CMS item on dynamic pages

Learn how to set the title, description, and social cover image shown in search results and social media shares for each CMS item on dynamic pages built with Studio.Design CMS.

On dynamic pages, you can change the title, description, and cover image for each CMS item by referencing CMS properties in the meta information fields of the Page settings.

Meta information you can set per item on dynamic pages

On dynamic pages linked to a CMS model, you can set the following meta information for each CMS item. These are used in search results and social media previews, and they affect SEO and click-through rates.

Step 1. Confirm that the page is a dynamic page

First, check that the page you want to configure is a dynamic page.

  1. Open the Pages panel and select the page.

  2. Make sure the Type field shows "Dynamic page."

Step 2. Set meta information using CMS properties

On dynamic pages, you can assign CMS properties in the page settings to change the meta information for each CMS item.

  1. In the Pages panel, select the dynamic page.

  2. Click the meta information field you want to configure (Page title, Page description, or Social cover).

For example, the image below shows the Page title field being clicked.

Click the [+] icon on the left side of the input field.

  3. In the Select a property menu, choose a property from your CMS model (for example, a property for the article title, description, or OGP image).

If needed, add properties such as "meta description" or an OGP image property in the CMS dashboard beforehand.

To set a social cover, click the thumbnail image to open the Select a property menu.
