A 404 page is an error page that appears when a requested page can't be found on your website.

By adding links to your home page or other helpful guidance, you can make it easier for visitors to continue browsing your site and reduce the chance of them leaving.

Note: If site password protection is enabled, your custom 404 page will not be displayed. In this case, a status code 200 will be returned instead.

Set up a 404 page

  1. Open the Page Panel.

  2. Select the page you want to use as your 404 page.

  3. The settings panel will open on the right side.

If the panel is closed, open the Right Panel.

  4. Click the [Type] field and select [404 Page] from the dropdown menu.
Note: Modals cannot be set as a 404 page.
