Overlapping Boxes (Negative Margin)

Set a negative value for a box's margin to reduce spacing and create overlapping layouts. Since this uses margin (outer spacing), you can combine it with other spacing settings for flexible designs.

Overlapping Boxes with Negative Margins

In the Box tab within the right panel, enter a negative value for Margin to set a negative margin.

  1. Select the box you want to overlap with another box.

  2. Select the [Box] tab in the right panel. If the panel is closed, open the right panel first.

  3. Enter a negative value in the [Margin] field under the [Layout] menu. Adjust the value for whichever direction (top, bottom, left, or right) you want the boxes to overlap.
