SEO optimization

Organize the SEO settings available in Studio.Design — including title, description, OGP image, favicon, HTML, alt attributes, sitemap, and 404 page — to help search engines and visitors better understand your site.

What is SEO?

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization, which refers to the steps you take to help your site appear more prominently in search results. Many of these on-site improvements also enhance accessibility. This article introduces the main SEO-related settings available in Studio.Design.

Point: Switching to the new site publishing infrastructure

As of June 11, 2026, Studio.Design's published site infrastructure has been rebuilt to deliver fully rendered HTML from the server. Projects created on or after this date will use this new infrastructure as the standard publishing platform.

The new infrastructure makes it easier for search engine crawlers to read your page content, making it better suited for SEO. If your site is currently published on the previous infrastructure, we recommend switching to the new one.

For details on the new infrastructure and how to switch from the previous version, please see the help articles below.

(1) Make your site easier for search engines to find

Setting the following meta information helps communicate your page content to both search engines and visitors.

(2) Clearly communicate your site structure and image content to search engines

Organizing your HTML structure and adding alt text to images helps both search engines and assistive technologies understand your content.

(3) Make your site easier for search engines to crawl

Improving internal links and error handling boosts crawl efficiency.

  • Set up a 404 page to reduce drop-offs from non-existent URLs.

  • Create a sitemap to convey your site's overall structure to search engines.

(4) Take additional SEO measures

Beyond Studio.Design settings, improving your content quality and external reputation is also important.

  • Improve content quality by focusing on solving users' problems. Reference: "Helpful, reliable, people-first content" (Google official documentation)
