Link to a PDF file

PDF files uploaded to the Studio.Design editor can't be displayed directly on a page, but you can link to them. Use PDF links for things like company brochures, handouts, and more.

Setting a PDF file as a link destination

In Studio.Design, you can upload PDF files and use them as links within your web pages. This is handy for things like company brochures, pamphlets, or downloadable resource links.

Uploaded PDF files can be set as links on text or boxes on your page. The PDF itself won't display directly on the page, but clicking the link will open the PDF in a new tab.

How to set it up

  1. Prepare the box you want to add the link to (such as text or an image).
※ Example of how to add a button: Left panel [Add] tab > [Parts] tab > Button [Show all]

  2. Select the button, then open the [Settings] tab in the right panel.
If the right panel is closed, open it first.

  3. Click the [Link] input field and set the uploaded PDF file as the link destination.

  4. Once the link is set, the PDF file name will appear in the upper right of the box.

  5. Update your site. Your changes won't go live until you update.

Tip: If you drag a PDF file from the Add panel onto the canvas, a text box with a link to the PDF will be placed there. The PDF itself won't be embedded on the page within an <iframe> box.
