Payment Methods Available on Studio.Design
Studio.Design accepts only credit or debit cards with 3D Secure authentication for all payments. This article explains which cards you can use, how payment works, and what to do if you run into any issues.
Information Needed for Payment
To use any paid service on Studio.Design, you’ll need:
Your country or region of residence
Credit or debit card details
Note:
Once you register your country or region, you won’t be able to change it later. Please double-check before submitting.
After you add your card, you can’t remove it yourself. If you need your card information deleted for any reason, please contact our chat support.
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following credit and debit cards, as long as they support 3D Secure 2.0 authentication—a security feature that helps prevent unauthorized use during online payments:
VISA
MasterCard
American Express
JCB
Diners Club
Note:
We do not accept invoice payments, bank transfers, or direct debit.
The Enterprise Plan is the only exception, where prepayment by bank transfer is available. (Enterprise plan is available only for Japan-based customers.)
Payment Currency
Your payment currency is set automatically to either Japanese yen or US dollars, based on your registered country or region.
If Your Payment Fails
If you see an error like “Studio Payment Error” or “StudioSubscriptionRequiresAction” when trying to pay, it may help to re-authenticate your card with 3D Secure. Here’s how:
Go to [Account Settings] > [Payment Information] > [Change Credit Card].
Enter your credit card details.
If your card issuer asks for additional authentication, follow the instructions to complete it.
For details on updating payment information for a workspace, see our guide: How to Set or Change Workspace Payment Information.
Tips:
If your payment still doesn’t go through after re-registering your card, please contact our chat support.
The way 3D Secure authentication works can vary by card issuer. For details, please check with your card provider.
