Tip: Domains you can use with your Studio.Design site
Before publishing your site, you'll need to choose which domain to use. With Studio.Design, you can publish your site using either a "custom domain" or a "Studio.Design subdomain." For more details, see Comparing custom domains and subdomains.
What is a Studio.Design subdomain?
A domain that's automatically assigned when you create a project in Studio.Design.
The URL format is "example.studio.site." You can't change the "studio.site" part at the end, but you can customize the "example" part at the beginning. By default, a random string is assigned to the "example" portion.
Available on all Studio.Design plans, including the Free plan. It's only active when your site is published with Studio.Design.
How to publish your site with a Studio.Design subdomain
Note: If you change the "example" part of your subdomain after publishing, your site will no longer be accessible from the previous domain.
Click [Publish] in the top right of the design editor to open the publish panel.
Enter your preferred text in the editable part of the subdomain. Enter any string between 8 and 63 characters in the "example" part of "example.studio.site."
Click [Save]. You'll be able to save once you've entered an available subdomain.
Click the [Publish] button. Once publishing is complete, your site will be accessible at the Studio.Design subdomain you set.
Tip: If you've already set up a custom domain for your project, you can switch to publishing with a Studio.Design subdomain instead. Just click [Studio Domain Settings] in the center of the publish panel to go to the subdomain settings screen.
