Templates available on Studio.Store can be used for web design services. Before using any template, be sure to review the applicable rights and usage terms.
Important considerations when using templates for web design services
Copyright for each template belongs to its original creator.
Each purchase is intended for use in a single project.
Templates cannot be redistributed or resold. Even if you modify a template, you cannot redistribute the template itself.
Templates should not be delivered as-is to a client. They are intended to be used as a foundation for building a complete website.
Images, fonts, and other assets included in a template may have their own separate usage terms.
If a template includes features that integrate with external services, those integrations may be subject to the terms and specifications of each respective service.
The project owner and billing owner are treated as separate roles — one for managing permissions and the other for handling payments.
Post-delivery revisions and maintenance are handled separately from the template's usage terms.
Credit attribution requirements may vary by template.
How to get (purchase) a template
Who purchases the template determines who becomes the project owner. Choose the approach that best fits your team's workflow.
Case 1: The designer/developer purchases the template
The designer/developer purchases the template, and a new project with the template applied is created with the designer/developer as the owner.
If needed, invite the client to the project. At this stage, any project role is fine.
Build the site and deliver it to the client.
Transfer the project owner role to the client.
If the project is on a paid plan and the client will be taking over site management after delivery, the client should change their role to billing owner themselves.
After delivery, the designer/developer can leave the project if no longer needed.
Case 2: The client purchases the template
The client purchases the template and creates a new project with the template applied. The client is the owner.
The client invites the designer/developer to the project.
Build the site and deliver it to the client.
After delivery, the designer/developer can leave the project if no longer needed.
