Content Edit Mode may be turned on, which limits what you can edit. This mode lets you focus on editing content like text without worrying about accidentally changing the overall design.
When Content Edit Mode is on
You can't select the Add panel, Layers panel, or other panels
In the left navigation, only the Main Menu and Pages panel are available
The right panel shows "No editable content."
How to fix it
Turn off Content Edit Mode using either of these methods:
Click the pencil icon at the bottom left of the editor
Click [Exit Content Edit Mode] at the top center of the screen
