Content Edit Mode

Explaining the content editing mode where only text, images, and other content can be edited in the editor.

Tips: Content edit mode is reflected per account, not per project. It does not affect the edit mode of other members participating in the same project.

Editing Restrictions in Content Edit Mode

The following operations are possible while in content edit mode

Operations are available only on the screen.

The following operations are not available while in content editing mode

  • Editing box and text design

  • Deleting boxes

  • Editing components

  • Editing page meta information, custom code, and structured data (site settings and page settings)

  • Editing page names, paths, and page types

  • Editing CMS properties associated with a box

  • Editing link settings and HTML tag settings

Turn on Content Edit Mode

  1. Select the element whose content you want to edit only.

    If you want to target the entire page instead of a specific box, open the Layers panel and select "<div> Base" at the top.

Click on the pen icon at the bottom of the navigation to activate content editing mode and lock the screen. Perform content editing on the screen or in the right panel.

Turn Off Content Edit Mode

Click on "Exit Content Edit Mode" on the screen or click again on the icon at the bottom of the navigation.
