Pages Panel

The Pages panel is where you view and manage all pages in your site. Open it from the left panel. This article covers the basics of using the Pages panel and key settings.

Updated today

The Pages panel shows all pages in your site in a list, so you can organize their names and order.

You can add pages, rename them, and change their order in the panel to keep your site structure clear.

What you can do in the Pages panel

  • Add pages

  • Rename pages

  • Change the order pages appear in the panel

Opening the Pages Panel

  1. Click the pages icon in the left navigation of the design editor.

  2. The Pages panel opens in the left panel.

Tip: You can view recently opened pages from the menu at the top of the screen.

Renaming a Page

Page names are only used in the editor and don't affect the title shown on your published site or in search results.

Good page names make it easier to tell pages apart and manage your site.

  1. Open the Pages panel.

  2. Double-click the page name you want to change.

  3. Press Enter to save.

Note: Title vs. URL

To edit the title shown in search engines and browser tabs, or to set the URL for each page, use the Site Settings panel.

Changing the display order

Tip: If you haven't set a page type as "Home," the page at the top of the panel becomes your site's home page.
