Adding a Shadow to a Box
Note: You cannot apply both an inner shadow and a drop shadow to the same box at the same time.
Select the box you want to edit.
In the right panel, select the [Box] tab.
If the panel is closed, open the right panel.
In the Box tab, go to the [Appearance] menu and adjust the settings in the [Shadow] field.
Shadow Settings
You can configure the following settings:
Color
Position
X: Shifts the shadow left or right
Y: Shifts the shadow up or down
Blur
Spread
Direction
Inset
Outset
Setting the Color
Use the color palette to set the shadow color.
You can specify colors using RGBA, HEX codes, the color picker, and more.
For more details, see Setting Colors with the Color Palette.
Setting the Position
Use X to adjust the horizontal position. A positive value moves the shadow to the right, and a negative value moves it to the left.
Use Y to adjust the vertical position. A positive value moves the shadow downward, and a negative value moves it upward.
Setting the Blur
Increasing the Blur value softens the edges of the shadow, giving it a smoother, more subtle look.
Decreasing the value makes the shadow edges sharper and more defined.
Setting the Spread
Spread controls the size of the shadow.
Increasing the value makes the shadow extend beyond the box, while decreasing it keeps the shadow closer to the box.
Setting the Direction
Select Inset to apply the shadow inside the box (inner shadow).
Select Outset to apply the shadow outside the box (drop shadow).
