Box appearance: Setting borders

Add borders to boxes and customize their color and style. Borders help clearly separate content and add visual accents to your design.

Adding a border to a box

  1. Select a box. To select multiple boxes, hold Shift and click each box.

  2. In the right panel, select the [Box] tab.

    If the panel is closed, open the right panel.

  3. In the [Appearance] menu, click the sample icon in the [Border] field.

  4. In the settings panel, configure the border options.

Removing a border

  1. Select the box whose border you want to remove.
    To select multiple boxes, hold Shift and click each box.

  2. In the right panel, select the [Box] tab.

    If the panel is closed, open the right panel.

  3. In the Box tab, click the sample icon in the Border field.

  4. Set the border width to 0 to remove the border.


How to edit borders

Setting a border color

Note: Gradient colors cannot be applied to borders.

Use the [Color] field in the panel to set the border color. Click the color sample icon to open the color palette.

Setting the border width (thickness)

You can set the border width (thickness) using the sample at the top of the border panel or the [Width] field.

You can apply the same thickness to all four sides, or set different values for the top, bottom, left, and right individually.

Setting the border style

In the [Style] field in the panel, you can choose from the following styles:

  • Solid

  • Dashed

  • Dotted

  • Double
