Can I Create a Multilingual Site with Studio?

Currently, Studio does not offer built-in multilingual support. However, you can create separate pages for each language, or use plugins.

Methods for Implementing Multilingual Support in Studio

Since Studio doesn't provide native multilingual functionality, you can use the following methods to create a multilingual site:

  1. Create separate pages for each language (e.g., Japanese and English) and set up a language switcher menu.

  2. Use translation plugins.

Creating Separate Pages for Each Language

Here's how you can set this up:

  1. Create an English page (e.g., studio.design).

  2. Duplicate the English page to create a Japanese version (e.g., studio.design/ja).

  3. Translate the content on the Japanese page.

  4. Add a language switcher in the header or footer to allow users to toggle between languages.

This method allows you to tailor each page for its specific audience.

Using Translation Plugins

Translation plugins can help you automate the translation process for the pages you create in Studio. This may simplify the management of your multilingual site.

Note: The Studio support team is unable to assist with third-party translation plugins.
