What you can do with Search Pages
By combining Search Pages with your CMS (Content Management System), you can implement a site-wide search feature. When visitors enter keywords, the system searches for matching items in your CMS (dynamic list) and displays the results.
Note: Currently, the search function only supports single-word queries. Multiple keyword searches (AND searches) like "Studio Design" are not supported.

Essential elements for a Search Page
To use the search feature, you'll need two components. These are automatically placed when you add a new Search Page:
1. Search Form (for entering search keywords)
This is the box where users enter their search keywords.
Can be placed on pages other than the Search Page.
You can select the destination Search Page in the settings panel.
2. Dynamic (CMS) List (list of searchable items)
This list displays search results on the Search Page.
Note: The following data is searchable:
Article-type models: Body and title
Non-article models: Title only
Text data within properties and items in collections are not searchable.
How to create a Search Page
1. Place the Search Form
The search form can be placed on pages other than the Search Page.
Select the destination Search Page in the settings panel.
2. Place and configure the Dynamic (CMS) List
To filter items by search keyword, you need to:
Select "Search Word" in the filter
Choose the "Search Word" property for the search string
You can adjust the list design, the design for zero results, and the "Show More" button. For more details, check out our Dynamic List guide.
3. Test your Search Page
You can check search results in the Editor, Live Preview, and on the published site.
In the Editor
Enter a search keyword in the "Preview with search word" field at the top left of the Search Page screen. In the Editor, all items including "drafts" and "scheduled" will be displayed.
In Live Preview
Use Live Preview to enter keywords in the search form and check the functionality. All items, including "drafts" and "scheduled", will be displayed.
On the published site
Publish and update your site, then test by entering keywords. Only published items will be searchable and displayed on the live site.
