When mobile design changes also affect the desktop layout

If your mobile design changes are also showing up on desktop, you may have edited a setting that can't be customized per breakpoint. To change images or text by breakpoint, use the box show/hide setting instead.

Tip: Responsive design in Studio.Design

In Studio.Design, you start with one page design and then adjust styles for each screen width (breakpoint) to create a responsive design.
You can change the layout, appearance, and position of boxes and text for each breakpoint, but the actual content of images and text, as well as the grouping structure, stay the same across all breakpoints.

Some settings can be changed for each breakpoint, while others are shared across all breakpoints.

If a design change you make in mobile mode also shows up on desktop, you may be editing one of the "Settings that can't be changed per breakpoint" listed above.

Tip: Switching which elements appear at each breakpoint

If you want to display different elements—such as images or text—on desktop versus mobile, use the Show/hide boxes per breakpoint feature.
