Embed a Google Calendar

Learn how to embed a Google Calendar into your web page using the Embed box. Adding a Google Calendar to your site lets you share your schedule with visitors.

How to embed a Google Calendar

(1) Get the embed code from Google Calendar

Note: Your calendar will only be visible to the people you've shared it with. To display the calendar to all site visitors, you'll need to change the calendar's sharing settings. For more details, see Make a Google Calendar public or share it.

  1. Open Google Calendar on a computer. The embed code can only be obtained on a computer—it's not available in the Google Calendar app.

  2. Click [Settings].

  3. On the left side of the screen, click the name of the calendar you want to embed.

  4. Click [Integrate calendar].

  5. Under [Embed code], click [Customize].

  6. Choose your calendar display options.
・Set the width and height to 500 or more.
・If you turn off [Navigation buttons], users will only be able to navigate the calendar using keyboard shortcuts.

  7. Click [Copy to clipboard] next to the embed code at the top.

For more details on how to get the iframe code, see the Google support page below.

Add an Embed box to your screen.

  1. Click the add icon in the navigation.

  2. Click the [Basic] tab.

  3. In the [Embed] section, click the [Blank] embed box.

  4. The embed box will be placed on your screen.

(3) Set the link in the embed box

Add the link you got in step (1) to the box you placed in step (2).

  1. Click the embed box.

  2. Select the [Embed] tab on the right panel. If the right panel is closed, please open it.

  3. In the [Embed code] input field, click [Open editor].

  4. In the editor on the left side of the [Edit embed code] screen, delete the existing text, paste the link you copied from Google Calendar, and click [Save].

  5. If you're editing a site that's already been published, update the site. Your changes won't appear until you update.
