Overview of the FONTPLUS End of Service

Replace FONTPLUS fonts with alternatives

Method 1: Replace manually
When you change the settings for a font family, all text using that font family will be updated at once.
In the right panel, open the [Text] tab. If the panel is closed, open the right panel.
Under [Typography], click the [Font] input field.
Click the icon
next to the font family label name.
In the [Font] input field, click the arrow icon [Replace font] next to the base font name.
Refer to the alternative font list and select a replacement font.
Click [Usage] at the bottom of the font settings panel to confirm the replacement was applied correctly.
To apply the changes to your live site, you'll need to update your site.

Method 2: Use the bulk font replacement feature
The bulk font replacement feature lets you change all configured fonts and sub-fonts in your project to different fonts at once.
Open the Design Editor.
If your site contains text that uses FONTPLUS fonts, a bulk font replacement popup will appear.
In the popup, select a replacement font for each affected font, then click [Replace All].
If you click [Later], the popup will close. To resume the bulk replacement later, click [Replace fonts] from the alert message at the top of the Design Editor.
Important notes for projects using FONTPLUS
If you restore a version from the version history in a project that used FONTPLUS fonts, the FONTPLUS font settings will also be restored. After April 8, 2026, any text using those fonts will be displayed with fallback system fonts instead.
Please keep this in mind when restoring your site after switching to alternative fonts.

This list is provided as a reference only. Please choose your replacement fonts based on the specific design requirements of your project.

Q. Can the end-of-service date be extended?
Q. Can the end-of-service date be extended?
A. We held extensive discussions with Monotype in an effort to continue offering FONTPLUS. However, considering the long-term stability and sustainability of our service, we made the difficult decision to end the contract.
