Font Selection Guide: Understanding System Fonts and Web Fonts

You can use both system and web fonts in Studio. Knowing their differences helps you build and maintain effective websites.

System Fonts

System fonts come pre-installed on devices like computers and smartphones. When you specify a system font, it displays as intended if installed on the visitor’s device; otherwise, it defaults to the system's standard font.

Key Benefits

  • Faster loading times compared to web fonts

  • No additional downloads required during page load

Recommended Uses

  • Corporate websites

  • Text-heavy content sites

Note

While system fonts may display differently across devices, you can minimize design inconsistencies by specifying Subsidiary Fonts (Sub Fonts) for different devices. *Coming soon

Web Fonts
