What are System Fonts?
System Fonts are fonts already installed on devices like computers and smartphones. Since they come standard with the device, they're also called device fonts.
When you set a System Font, it will display as intended if the viewer's device has that font installed. If not, the device's default font will be used instead. Because System Fonts don't need to be downloaded, they load faster than Web Fonts—but the displayed result may differ from your intended design depending on the viewer's device.
You can set System Fonts from the "System Font" section in the font selection menu of the design editor.
Tip: Display variations with System Fonts
When you use System Fonts, you can't guarantee the same font will display on every device.
Setting a subfont helps reduce the chance of unexpected display issues or design breaks caused by fonts.
System Font features
Faster display speed compared to Web Fonts
May display as a different font depending on the viewer's device
Recommended uses for System Fonts
Best suited for sites where display speed is a priority.
Corporate sites and e-commerce sites

What are Web Fonts?
Web Fonts are downloaded from the cloud or a server, so they display consistently across all viewing devices. They also give you access to a wide range of stylish fonts. However, since the font has to load when someone views your site, the font you choose can affect loading speed.
Studio.Design lets you use fonts from the following services on all plans.
